It´s taken us a little while to recover from Easter weekend. At first we were planning
on a quiet and calm Easter, but the lineup at Bluesfest swiftly changed our minds.
Last minute on Thursday night we decided we couldn't miss out and headed to
Byron Bay for Bluesfest. Driving up in the Dr Denim ambo we did an all nighter to
catch the Friday shows.
First off we had to feed our hungry souls, so we headed to our favourite Japanese
restaurant, Kinoko. Try the softshell crab if you go, perfect crisp!
Byron was showing it´s usual brilliant side.
A quick dip to freshen up and off to the festival.
Highlight of Friday - the legendary Rodriguez. Excitingly amazing and we loved the killer covers of
Bob Dylan he performed.
If hunger sets in. Head to Dip Café (on Fletcher St) for some of the best
breakkie/brunch.
Such good food!!
Claudia, our incredible sales manager actually drove back all the way to Sydney in one go. LEGEND!
Such a killer lineup this year and we´re thrilled that we went even though the drive back felt pretty
brutal. Now we´re just recovering while waiting for the next Bluesfest lineup.
This is def our new Easter tradition!
