We’ve been inspired by our sweet friends in Gothenburg! Take advantage of the fresh Spring Strawberries and make yourself this delicious home made jam - inspired by the Dr Denim Old Jam collection. Its a very sweet idea, a very tasty Old Jam-jam.
The recipe is very simple. You'll need:
Strawberries (50 %).
"Jam Sugar", the special one that contains pectin (50%).
Freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Finely ground vanilla.
Just take your seasonal fresh strawberries and mix it with the sugar, add some freshly squeezed lemon juice and one finely ground vanilla. Let everything cook together until you have a nice "jam texture". Let it cool off and pour into jars. Voilà!
A lovely sweet spring treat that goes with (almost) anything. Goes perfectly with a sunny Sunday breakfast of home made pancakes and seasonal fruit.
