What to Wear in Spring: Why Denim Always Works

What to Wear in Spring: Why Denim Always Works

The sun climbs later in the sky, lingering longer, softer now, like it knows you’ve earned this. The chill loosens its grip. You start shedding layers, the heavy coats, the wool that itched. Suddenly, there’s skin in the game again. You pull out old favourites from the back of the wardrobe, half nostalgic, half embarrassed. Some still fit like old friends, some feel like strangers you wish you’d never invited in. That’s the beauty of seasons changing, there’s always room to begin again.

September is a promise. A foot in both worlds. Mornings crisp enough for denim and a jacket, afternoons that beg for cut-offs and bare arms. It’s not winter, not summer but the perfect tension in between. The time where denim proves what we’ve always known, it isn’t seasonal. It’s the backbone, the piece you return to, the thing that makes you feel like yourself when the rest of your wardrobe can’t make up its mind.

Denim is serious business, but life isn’t. And in the words of someone famous, maybe Mr Strauss, maybe The Dr himself - we’ll leave you with the only motto you really need: Jeans and a nice top.
